Accounting, Finance Controller/Director with over 25 years’ experience including monthly financial statement preparation, strategic planning, leadership, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, investment decision making, cost accounting, cost allocation, governmental accounting, grant accounting and reporting, payroll, quarterly and annual tax requirements, mental health insurance and Medicaid billing, regulatory and credentialing oversight, COA accreditation, annual audit compliance, inventory and costing of all supplies, and computer software design and support.
Developed and implemented all accounting and finance policies and procedures. Maintain financial investment relationship with banks. Director of Human Resources responsible for policy and procedure development and adherence, FMLA, 401K administration, benefit administration, training, hiring and termination, disciplinary actions, company newsletter, wellness and auxiliary functions. Meet Astro.
Security for my home office.
​
Astro was rescued at about 3 months of age from Lincoln NE. Astro (formerly Rex) was severely malnourished and abused. He was fostered and trained while becoming healthy by Julie Starns of Good Decisions Dog training. Astro then spent 10 weeks at the Nebraska State penitentiary with an inmate that worked with him and helped him obtain his Good Citizen K-9 certificate.

He returned to Julie for foster and continued to be trained, even beginning to train as a service animal. Astro found me when I was looking for a companion. We knew from the moment I first met him, it was meant to be.
